Summer is here and it’s time to enjoy all the Fourth of July festivities. From backyard barbecues to parades to fireworks displays, there are lots of ways to celebrate Independence Day. Celebrate with your local community, and check out these 2017 Fourth of July Festivities throughout the Conejo Valley.
Thousand Oaks.
There are lots of opportunities to celebrate in Thousand Oaks. Check out the annual Conejo Recreation and Park District and City of Thousand Oaks 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular from the Janss Marketplace at 9:00 p.m. or attend the Ice Cream Social and Patriotic Celebration at Stagecoach Inn Museum in Newbury Park from 1:00 p.m-4:00 p.m. There’s sure to be fun for the whole family.
Westlake Village.
Celebrate the Fourth of July with a parade and fireworks spectacular. The 47th Annual Westlake Village 4th of July Parade is set to take place at 9:45 a.m. at Berniece Bennett Park. With fun and games, it’s sure not to be missed. In the evening, come to see the city’s 4th Annual fireworks show at the Westlake Village Golf Course. Activities begin at 6:00 p.m., however, the show begins at 9:10 p.m.
Simi Valley.
Get presidential for July 4th at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. come check out the patriotic festivities. With fact painting, presidential re-enactors, storytelling, entertainment, and more. Festivities are free and open to the public, however, regular admission applies to the museum.
Calabasas.
Bring the family to the City of Calabasas Fourth of July Spectacular. This spectacular fireworks display is not to be missed. Tickets are $10 and include parking, entertainment, and a kid’s fun zone. Buy your tickets in advance and make sure to arrive early.
