Celebrate Summer At These Great Events

As the weather heats up, so does the Conejo Valley social scene. With the longer days come more opportunities to spend them at fun local events. So you can make the most of your summer, here are a couple of upcoming happenings that you will not want to miss.

  • Defeat The Drought Water Conservation Expo: Water restrictions have been set in place statewide, and California residents are being forced to get creative with their water usage. So you can make the most of every drop, mark your calendar for this upcoming Water Conservation Expo, which will be held on June 27th at the Civic Arts Plaza Courtyard. Including drought education and updates offered by the Calleguas Water District, features like a “50 Shades of Greywater Management,” guides to turf removal and landscaping with native plants, and suggestions of household fixes to save water, this event promises to be both educational and helpful for your daily life.
  • Conejo Food and Wine Fest: Come together with your community to celebrate the best of local food and wine. This will be the 5th annual Food and Wine Fest and it will feature live entertainment and great prizes, all with the goal of raising money for its charity partners. Hosted at St. Paschal Baylon School on June 28th, the Fest offers attendees the chance to sample food, wine, beer, and desserts from dozens of vendors based out of the Conejo Valley community.
