Fun Ideas to Celebrate Dad This Father’s Day!

Fun Ideas to Celebrate Dad This Father’s Day!

Instead of celebrating dad with a corny card and another tie, surprise him with these fun activities!

Father’s Day is just around the corner! While you might have your gift all wrapped up and ready to go, you might still be on the hunt for things to do with dad on his special holiday. So that you can make this Father’s Day one dad will not soon forget, try some of these activities.

  • Breakfast In Bed: Take this favorite for Mother’s Day and use it to start dad’s day off right. Whip up his favorite breakfast foods, arrange them nicely on a tray, and deliver it all with a handwritten note to ensure that dad knows how loved he is from the moment he wakes up.
  • Have Story Time: Father’s Day presents the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with dad. Make the most of it by asking him to tell some stories from his past. Ones where he gets into trouble can be especially entertaining!
  • Hit The Links: If your dad is a golf lover, enjoy one of his favorite activities with him. Even if you are not a golfer yourself, spending a day out on the course will give you the chance to get outside, get moving, and get in some great time with dad.
  • Get Tickets: Find a local event (e.g. sporting event, concert, art exhibit) that would pique your dad’s interests and carve out your day to attend it with him. You will have the chance to learn more about your dad and will create a memory he will not soon forget.
