Kick off the holiday season with your kids at the Santa Claus parachute drop into Janss Marketplace!
Sure, you could go fend your way through the crowds participating in Black Friday shopping the day after Thanksgiving. There is another equally exciting but less stressful holiday celebration option, though!
One Friday, November 27th Santa Claus is coming to town! You won’t want to miss his arrival right here in Southern California, since it promises to be especially thrilling this year. At noon on the 27th, Santa Claus will be parachuting into Janss Marketplace.
Yes, you read that right! By heading to Janss – a Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks – you’ll be able to watch Santa Claus drop in from the sky to kick of the holiday season. That’s not the only fun to be had either!
Starting at 11:30 a.m., the first 100 guests to check in on Facebook at the event information booth will get a free pair of binoculars. That way you can get a great view of Santa’s big arrival!
Santa will be joined by Mrs. Claus. They’ll take a ride on the American Eagle Express train, heading to the Janss Marketplace Santa House where they’ll be available for photos until 5:30 p.m. If you have November 27th receipts for shops in Janss totaling $50+, your picture with Santa will be free! There will also be free train rides, holiday crafts, and story time with Mrs. Claus for the kids to enjoy.
