It’s Time For The 2015 Ventura County Fair!
The Fair returns to Ventura County!
As we enter the last month of summer, you may feel a little sadness that the season is ending. Cheer up! There is still plenty of fun to be had before the summer ends, a lot of it is coming your way in the next few days!
The Ventura County Fair has returned. This year, the county fair with ocean air is running from August 5th to 16th at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. This great local event has grown significantly since its 1875 start, when the focus was primarily on horse races. This year, as we celebrate the 140th anniversary of what has become a beloved local tradition, there is something for everyone. From cooking shows to Civil War displays to team roping to puppets, you are sure to find something that will tickle your fancy.
Of course, you will not want to miss the rodeo or any of the great headliners who will be taking the stage at the Grandstand. Upcoming performers include The Band Perry, The B-52s, and Salt-N-Pepa!
The fair will open at 11:00 a.m. every day and close at 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for children (ages 6-12) and seniors (ages 65+). Children under five and seniors over 100 get in free!
